Harbor Seal Sunbathes; Mystic Aquarium Rescue Team Visits

It’s never a dull moment in the life of an animal control officer! On Saturday, April 18, Ledyard Animal Control ended the day with a wildly different call than usual.

“A harbor seal hanging out on the shore off Rt.12,” Ledyard Animal Control wrote on Facebook. “Mystic Aquarium Rescue Team came out to make sure he was okay. Sure enough, he was just loving the sun! Gotta love Ledyard!”
