Hart Perry Boathouse Design Receives Over 20 Proposals

Officials said they had received over 20 proposals from architectural firms bidding for the right to design the Hart Perry Boathouse.

STONINGTON – Stonington Community Rowing Center and Hart Perry Boathouse Campaign Manager Rick Larkin said Tuesday that 23 proposals had been received from architectural firms across the country bidding for the right to design the Hart Perry Boathouse.

Responding to a Request for Qualifications issued by the Committee on January 12, the responses are from highly qualified firms in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts, according to a release.

“The response to our request has been really extraordinary – over the top,” Larkin said in a release, “and it shows the incredibly high level of interest in this project throughout the region.”
