
The Council for Educational Travel, U.S.A. (CETUSA) is placing exchange students for the 2013-14 school year in Connecticut high schools and is currently qualifying host families. CETUSA is a non-profit, global exchange organization dedicated to helping people from different cultures develop more compassion and understanding for one another. Since 1995, together with international partners and academic institutions from over 50 countries, CETUSA has helped tens of thousands of students and families benefit from the integration of diverse cultures. CETUSA programs provide a unique opportunity to share the experiences of daily living, education and family life. CETUSA programs help to improve mutual understanding and communication between people in the United States and other nations of the world. CETUSA’s vision is to build a world of global friendships through high-quality, global exchange experiences by providing reliable, compassionate support to all program participants. CETUSA believes in a program based on integrity, knowledge and open, honest communication; this is the foundation on which it sets the industry standard of excellence. Its mission statement is “reaching out to encourage a lifelong journey of global peace and understanding.” CETUSA operates all of its programs in accordance with the regulations of the United States Department of State and is designated to issue the DS-2019 enabling program participants to obtain the J-1 visa. CETUSA is fully accredited by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET), an organization that evaluates exchange organizations. CETUSA endorses and upholds CSIET standards and the U.S. State Department’s regulations. CETUSA has a great selection of students available.
