As much as I adore garlic, I'd never heard of garlic scapes. The squiggly top of the garlic plant which is everywhere now as folks harvest their garlic. But they won't be around for long. While at the Denison Farm Market Sunday, we learned all about the scape. Davis Farm tells us exactly what to do with that scape: dice them for salads or sauté or, even better, for your pesto. Yum.
