Major Mystic Development In The Works At Seaport Marine

MYSTIC, CT - The owners of Seaport Marine plan to demolish the 11.5-acre site to make way for a commercial and residential development, according to The Day. The new development on Washington Street, dubbed Smiler's Wharf, will include a second restaurant, a marine services building, a 45-room hotel and 47 residential units.

The only part of the site slated to remain is Red 36 restaurant. The plans also call for additional dockage space to support the new development.
