Man Arrested After Calling Stonington Police, Telling Officers He was Driving Drunk: Report

Police said a man called them to say he was driving drunk, made it home and was subsequently arrested.

STONINGTON, CT - Officers charged a man Sunday night with DUI after he called police to tell them he was driving drunk, The Day reported.

Norman E. Boiselle, 28, of Old Mystic called police to say he was driving drunk some time before 11 p.m., according to The Day. He also told officers he had crashed into a snowbank on Route 201.

Police said the suspect also told them that his car was damaged in the crash, but he had driven home anyway, The Day reported. He was found at his home by officers, where he failed a field sobriety test.
