Music at The Lighthouse Returns to Stonington
The 7th Annual Benefit Concert by Salt Marsh Opera in Stonington will be held this summer.

STONINGTON, CT- "Broadway & Opera Favorites," produced and performed by Salt Marsh Opera, will be featured at the Music at The Lighthouse concert on Sunday, July 3 at 6 p.m.
It will be held outdoors on the seaside lawn of the Old Lighthouse Museum in Stonington. The Music at the Lighthouse benefit concert is supported by the Stonington Historical Society.
Residents and visitors alike will enjoy timeless Broadway songs from My Fair Lady, Music Man and Guys and Dolls as well as opera favorites by Verdi, Puccini and Bizet. Solos and duets will be performed by soprano Rachele Schmiege and tenor Stefan Barner, recent Salt Marsh Opera performers.

"This will be Salt Marsh Opera's seventh open-air concert in Stonington, and we are excited to continue the program introducing Broadway and opera selections and singers to our community," said Salt Marsh Opera General Manager and Artistic Director Simon Holt.
Families are encouraged to bring their picnics, chairs and blankets to enjoy this unique waterfront experience overlooking Fishers Island Sound. The Lighthouse grounds which will open at 5 p.m.

Tickets for the concert are $12 at the Lighthouse gate, free for children under 14. Advance tickets are available for $10 by calling 888-788-4188 or 860-535-0753, or by visiting Tom's News in Stonington. The rain date is July 10.
Proceeds from Music at the Lighthouse will benefit Salt Marsh Opera.
