Mystic Chamber's Business Of The Month: Steamboat Inn

Each month, the highlights a member business deserving of special recognition. We are thrilled to announce as the July recipient of the Business of the Month award.

As an outstanding business with accolades from many different publications, Steamboat Inn gives visitors a charming place to stay and also consistently gives back to the community.  

Steamboat Inn has been touted as an incredible place to vacation by many, and their guests enthusiastically support local shops and restaurants. Lanier’s Bed & Breakfast, a travel website with over 45,000 listings, has awarded Steamboat Inn as the for the second consecutive year in their Best of the Best category.  

Lanier notes that: “Steamboat Inn has historic riverfront walks and unique luxury rooms.” They have also been placed in the category for Best Historic Inn for Best of New England.  

The Inn is run by Kate Abel who takes pride not only in the unique location but also in the superior customer service she offers to her guests.  “Many of our guests comeback to Steamboat year after year, and it is our pleasure to count them among our friends,” said Abel.   

In addition to all they do to make their guests comfortable, the Steamboat Inn is also a generous friend to the community.  They consistently give back to many local non-profit organizations like Hospice SECT, the , Mystic Seaport Morgan Fund, Mystic Flag Committee and more.
