Mystic Domestic Incident Results In Stabbing
A Tuesday night domestic incident left one stabbed with minor injuries. One was taken into custody, the other transported to the hospital.
MYSTIC, CT—Stonington Police responded to a domestic disturbance Tuesday night in Mystic, The Day reported. According to police Captain Todd Olson, one individual was transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, it was reported, with minor injuries after being stabbed. The incident took place at a home at School Street and Route 27 at around 8:40 p.m., The Day reported.
Two people were arrested, police said, with the injured person taken to the hospital and given a summons to appear and the other individual was taken into custody.
Corey J. Novak, of 239 Flanders Road was charged with second-degree breach of peace and Paul Derderian, of 7 School St., was charged with second-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.

The Day reported that Novak and Derderian got into an argument that turned violent; Novak allegedly grabbed Derderian by the neck and he then allegedly stabbed Novak in the shoulder
