Mystic Seaport announced on their Facebook page that the Lighthouses and Harbor Seal Cruises have been extended to the end of July.
There are three cruise dates left for this month on Wednesday, as well as June 22 and 29. If you can’t make those but still want to experience all the fun, never fear; according to their website, three dates follow next month on July 12, 19 and 26.
June cruises run from noon to 3 p.m., while July cruises depart at 9:30 a.m. and return close to 1 p.m. Cruises depart from Mystic Seaport and allow only a maximum of six people at $50 per adult and $35 per youth (ages 6-17).

The experience offers a private cruise aboard the classic 30-foot wooden motor yacht Encore around Fishers Island Sound to see various lighthouses, cottages, and harbor seals. During the three-hour cruise, Captain Jack Spratt will share the history, geology, and natural history of the area.
Encore was built as a charter fishing boat that regularly fished Georges Bank, known for very difficult and dangerous sea conditions. Captain Spratt saved Encore from the scrap yard and restored it for comfortable cruising and designed for open sea crossing.
