New Downtown Mystic Restaurant to Feature Dry Aged Steak, Bacon at Bar and More
Chapter One Fine Food and Drink will open soon, and promises a plethora of exciting features.

MYSTIC, CT – Downtown Mystic will boast a new restaurant in the next two weeks, featuring exciting features like free bacon strips at the bar and mini desserts served in shot glasses, The Day reported.
Chapter One Fine Food and Drink will be a 90-seat venue with an international menu of sorts, according to The Day. Selections feature some Italian, Asian and French inspirations alongside the bar bacon and dry aged steak.
A menu highlight will be 28-day dry aged steaks, according to their Facebook page. Owners Dan Van Kruiningen and Ken Fontaine also plan for the restaurant to have a nightlife, as listed operating hours exceed midnight each night of the week.

Van Kruiningen has had experience running restaurants and lounges in Stonington and Mystic and at Mohegan Sun casino, while Fontaine owns the Norwich Bowling and Entertainment Center, according to The Day. The pair is still discussing the official opening date.
