New Restaurant Plans To Open In Former Pizzetta Space In Mystic
After one restaurant announced it would be closing its doors earlier this month, another is poised to move in, according to a report.
MYSTIC, CT â A new restaurant is planning to open in the spring at the 7 Water St. location where Pizzetta recently closed, according to The Day.
PEARL provisions + tipples restaurant will serve food made with local ingredients along with craft cocktails and wine.
The couple opening the restaurant, Moses Laboy and his wife Lauren Wells, have a combined 40 years in hospitality.

The restaurant made the following announcement on Facebook:
"To our valued customers and friends, who have become family:
"Today will be Pizzetta's last day. We cannot thank you enough for the love and support you have continued to show over the years.
"While encouraging you to keep the Pizzetta energy alive, focusing on the positive memories and telling stories of the good times that were had by all, we hope that you look forward to the future, and the exciting changes that are to come."
