Old Mystic Fire Official Charged In Domestic Incident

The fire department's deputy chief was relieved of duty following a Jan. 19 arrest.

MYSTIC, CT - Old Mystic Fire Department Deputy Chief Christopher Clarkin has been relieved of duty following a Jan. 19 domestic incident, according to The Day. Groton Police charged Clarkin with second-degree unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct.

He was released on $500 bond and is scheduled to appear at New London Superior Court March 5. Read the full story in The Day.
