Party for the Planet Taking Place at Mystic Aquarium
Learn about the importance of different creatures from sharks to butterflies and how to reduce your personal impact on the environment.

You’re invited to the Party for the Planet! Mystic Aquarium is joining more than one billion people from all over the world to celebrate Earth Day on Friday, April 22. Participate in hands-on activities that will demonstrate the destructive effects of oil spills and pollution, the importance of different creatures from sharks to butterflies, and the work done locally to help protect our planet. Plus, learn how you can reduce your personal impact on the environment through simple changes in your daily routine.
Then, on Saturday, April 23, join us at Bluff Point State Park in Groton from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for our Party by the Coast. Talk to marine biologists as you look for Long Island Sound inhabitants and help clean the beach, all in celebration of the ocean we share with the world.
Free for Aquarium members and with general admission – April 23 event is free to all who wish to join.
