Police Increasing Efforts To Stop Boating Under The Influence In Stonington
Stonington police will be participating in the annual Operation Dry Water Campaign to reduce instances of boating under the influence.

STONINGTON, CT - The Stonington Police Department will be participating in the annual Operation Dry Water Campaign, the Westerly Sun reported. The campaign aims to reduce instances of boating under the influence.

Operation Dry Water's heightened awareness and enforcement three-day weekend takes place annually around July fourth, a holiday unfortunately known for drinking and boating, and deadly accidents, according to the Operation Dry Water website.
