Stonington, Mystic: Westerly and Providence based whodunit author Jack Partridge will be speaking at Westerly Library.

WESTERLY – On Wednesday, March 25, at 6:30 p.m., Westerly Library is thrilled to have well-known Rhode Island author JJ Partridge speak. Partridge is the author of three mystery novels featuring Algy Temple, Rhode Island’s pool playing detective. The most recent work, “Scratched,” was released in November and has been very well-reviewed, called a “witty and well-written whodunit” in a starred review by Publishers Weekly, “an entertaining read packed with interesting insights” by Providence Monthly, and “thoroughly enjoyable” by the Los Angeles Review of Books. Partridge’s well-researched novels are set in Providence, mentioning well-known places and events such as Wickenden Street, Federal Hill, and Waterfire.

Jack Partridge is a successful local attorney and founding partner of Partridge, Snow, and Hahn, and a resident of both Providence and Westerly with his artist wife Regina, who has exhibited at the library’s Hoxie Gallery. Please join us for what will surely be an exciting evening.

Programs at the library are free, open to the public, and handicapped accessible.
