Rebozo Workshop for Birth Professionals and the Birth Partner with Gena Kirby

In this 6 hour class, students will peer into the past and learn about not only the history of the rebozo but the practical uses this ancient fabric has in pregnancy, labor and in parenting! My mission is to show how the rebozo can help during pregnancy and labor to help the partner and laboring mother feel supported confident and grounded/strong.
The class is broken up into 3 sections; Relaxation, Comfort Measures and Strength in 3 stage & pushing.

Expect to have fun and move around a lot. During the class we will take a few breaks and have a 45 minute lunch. This class is worth 6 CEU's, and you will receive an Ebook with images of some of the techniques you will see in class.

Expect plenty of laughter and some tears as we journey together in this workshop celebrating the history and wisdom of the rebozo. http://www.eventbrite.com/event/6535884005/efbevent
What Midwives Are Saying About The Workshop:
I attended Genas Comfort Measures in Labor Using the Rebozo this evening and LOVED it! I"ve known that the rebozo could be useful in labor but I had no idea just how many uses it had. Gena helped me double the tools in my doula tool box in a little more than an hour and I cant wait to use them at my next birth! Im grateful for the ebook she provides as well so that if I forget anything she taught or I'm feeling stumped, I can just pull out my phone and use the ebook as reference when Im at a birth. Thank you, Gena, it was great!

Just took Gena Kirbys Rebozo class and wow. Invaluable info for any doula, anyone who works with childbirth and for any couple.

So many wonderful moments but the midnight rebozo workshop with Gena Kirby was amazing. If she does a workshop near you its a must go.
