Report: Highway Worker Suspended For Sexual Harassment
A public works employee was suspended for sexual harassment and it's not the first time he's faced discipline, according to a report.

STONINGTON, CT—A public works employee was suspended for 10 days after being accused of sexual harassment, according to a report in The Day. He must also participate in sexual harassment training. The report says he cannot come in contact with Stonington Police community service officers, temporary summer jobs usually performed by college students.
Ernie Santos is a 19-year Stonington highway division employee who has previously been disciplined. In a 2012 story, it was reported Santos was suspended in 2011 and 2012, the former for getting mad at a colleague and the latter also an anger incident, but in that case, later displaying a knife seen as a threat. He was ordered to undergo anger management therapy. But those incidents were not the first time Santos was confronted by town management; in 2006 he was warned against threatening co-workers, The Day reported.
