Restaurant, Live Music Venue Opens 2nd Location In Mystic

MYSTIC, CT — Milestone Restaurant opened its second location in Mystic earlier this month. The restaurant's first location is also a live music destination in Redding.

"Milestone is ready to bring its unique blend of classic bites and cocktails with live music experiences to the vibrant heart of Mystic," according to a statement from the restaurant. "Their expansion to downtown Mystic is an exciting addition to the already bustling Water Street, which has become a hub of activity in previous years."

Peter Fine, a former hospitality-focused real estate executive, and his wife Andi opened Milestone in 2018. They intended to "create a space with a laid-back vibe and a wide array of scratch-made classic comfort food and craft cocktails." They were drawn to open a downtown Mystic location due to "the area's diverse cultural experiences and captivating coastal ambiance."

The space will have a heated outdoor deck and a "cozy but uniquely vibrant interior."

The Mystic location will offer live musical performances by local and national musicians at least two or three times per month. Most of these performances are scheduled for Saturdays with a $5 cover charge for entrance.

The menu features items made from scratch including soups, salads, burgers, pizza, and more. They also offer a variety of classic cocktails as well as beer and wine.

Milestone Restaurant is located at 12 Water St.
