SECAPA Open Meeting: It's Show Time - For Authors

CAPA

Founder Brian Jud to Speak at SECAPA Meeting July 15th

             The
Southeast Chapter of the Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association will
present CAPA founder Brian Jud at their next open meeting, Monday, July 15th
in Stonington. His topic is, It’s Show Time – How to land and perform on more
TV and radio shows.

Do you want to sell more books on TV
and radio shows? This personal media-training course will show you how to get
on more shows and appear confident while delivering your message convincingly,
with your words and actions. Learn how to use memory techniques if your mind
goes blank, discover proven techniques to use when taking calls from listeners
and find new ways to improve your telephone interviews for radio shows. You
will also learn how to become the perfect television guest by using your body
language, gestures and facial expressions strategically and confidently.

Jud is an author, media trainer, television host and guest on over 1200 television and radio shows.  Brian is the president of Premium Book Company selling books on a commission basis to buyers in non-bookstore markets. He is also the Executive Director of the Association of Publishers for Special Sales, formerly known as SPAN.

Jud was the host of the television series The Book Authority that aired over 650 shows. It is the longest continuously running cable TV show in Connecticut. In addition, he is the author, narrator and producer of the media-training video program You're On The Air. He also wrote and published: It’s Show Time and Perpetual Promotion. These describe techniques for authors to get on and perform on television and radio shows.

The July 15th meeting is a 6:30 PM potluck social at a SECAPA member’s home in Stonington. For more information and directions, please call Chairman Tom Santos at 860-599-5067 or email him at santostom@comcast.net. For more about CAPA/SECAPA visit www.aboutcapa.com or www.secapa.org.
