State Senator Representing Stonington Recovering Well After Head Injury

State Sen. Andrew Maynard, who fell and hit his head at his Stonington home is recovering well, NBC Connecticut reports.

Despite not having made a public appearance, Maynard won against his Republican challenger in November’s election.

According to the news channel, Maynard’s family has released statements saying his recovery is going well. Maynard will chair the Transportation Committee when the session convenes Jan. 7.
