PAWCATUCK, CT — The public will have a chance to weigh in when the Planning and Zoning Commision holds a public hearing on the project March 3, but in the meantime, as reported by The Day, the Stonington Economic Development Commission unanimously blessed the Mystic Seaport Museum’s project.

The plan calls for restaurant Latitude 41 to be razed and a new eatery and three-story 26-room boutique hotel with a swimming pool built in its place.

The 75 Greenmanville Ave., Mystic, project needs a master plan zone change, site plan approval and Coastal Area Management Review application approval so it can move forward with the plan that also includes a guest cottage, a ā€œutility structureā€ and relocation of the dock office to Chubb’s Wharf.
