Stonington High Class of '13 Graduates This Week at Coast Guard Academy

The Stonington High School Class of 2013 graduates Wednesday June 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy with plenty of pomp and circumstance, literally, with the SHS Brass Quintet playing the processional.   

With a salute to the Flag by National Honor Society President Lauren Elizabeth Eisenbeis, a ‘welcoming’ by class president Joni Marie Moody, the salutatory address by 2013 Salutatorian Lindsay Michelle Gimple, the ceremony will also include the presentation of the class gift, poetry by Mackensie duPont Crowley, music and song by the SHS Chamber Choir, the valedictory address by Class of 2013 Valedictorian Audrey Marie Jones and the presentation of diplomas.

Following the ceremony, the junior class, school administration and faculty hold a reception for the graduates at the USCGA's Leamy Hall.
