Have you ever been curious about what cocktails were like in colonial times? Want to know what’s in a Syllabub? Maybe you’re hoping to learn the recipe for a cup of Grog? Enjoy some of these revolutionary-era refreshments and learn how to make some too with Director of the Woolworth Library, Chelsea Mitchell.

Tickets for Switchel, Grog, & Flip are $10 and are available online at stoningtonhistory.org.

Members of the Stonington Historical Society receive a 50% discount on tickets. The Captain Palmer House is located at 40 Palmer Street in Stonington.

Founded in 1895, the Stonington Historical Society preserves, interprets, and celebrates the history of all of Stonington, Connecticut. The Society owns and operates the Captain Nathaniel B. Palmer House, the Lighthouse Museum. and the Woolworth Research Library, as well as maintaining its collection of objects and documents and offering educational programming throughout the year.
