Stonington Receives Over $350,000 For Small Harbor Improvements
Sixteen different Connecticut municipalities this week had Small Harbor Improvement Projects approved for state funding.

STONINGTON, CT - Sixteen different Connecticut municipalities this week had Small Harbor Improvement Projects approved for state funding. The total amount of funding that will be handed out tops $4 million.
The money allotted is under the jurisdiction of the Connecticut Port Authorityās āGrants-In- Aidā for improvements to ports and marinas. The work includes dreading and navigational directional work.

Stonington will receive $390,000 for South Pier/Town Dock dredging and breakwater reconstruction.

- Norwalk, reconstruction of visitors docks, $908,250
- Groton, Town ā new Nautilus Dock, $730,000
- Groton, City ā new Thames Street Dock, $54,400
- Waterford, Mago Point Mooring/Dock, $35,000
- Stratford, Emergency Service Dock, $13,700
- Chester, design and planning for Chester Creek dredging, $15,000
