Stonington's Plan of Conservation and Development Hearing Rescheduled
The public will have an opportunity to give feedback and ask questions at the Planning and Zoning Commission's POCD hearing.

The Town of Stoningtonās Planning and Zoning Commission will host its hearing on adoption of the 2015 Plan of Conservation and Development at 7 p.m. Tuesday April 28, at Mystic Middle School, 204 Mistuxet Ave., Mystic.
The following information is from Town Planner Keith Brynes.
The hearing date has been rescheduled from April 14th due to a scheduling conflict with the townās budget hearing.

Public input at this hearing is encouraged. At this meeting, the commission will hear public comments and may vote on adopting the 2015 POCD.
The Plan of Conservation and Development is a strategic plan intended to guide the future of the Town and includes several recommended policies and tasks to guide in local decision making over the next 10 years. The final draft is the result of public input previously gathered by the Townās POCD Subcommittee through public input meetings, a questionnaire completed by over 700 people, and input from local boards and commissions.
