This Week At The Denison Farm Market

The Denison Farm Market is open today, Sunday, July 10 from noon to 3 p.m. Here are some of the goodies you can expect to find:

Breads 'n Cookies: Friend of the DFM special this week: $1.00 off a large loaf of assorted pound cakes or sweet breads including, spiced zucchini bread, buttery chocolate pound cake, pumpkin pound cake with coconut, golden raisins, pecans.

Groton Family Farm: Friend of the DFM special this week: $1.00 off a dozen pasture-raised eggs.

18th Century Purity Farm: Will have blueberries, raspberries, summer squash, garlic, new red potatoes, sugar snap peas, English peas, rhubarb, heirloom dry beans, gooseberries, and onions. Friends of the DFM will receive $1.00 off a box of blueberries.

Paul-n-Dina Gardens: will be at the market this week with fresh and dried herbs, fresh lavender and flowers, salad greens and summer veggies. Stop by to see our selection of all-vegetable herbal soaps. Our Friend of the DFM special is $1.00 off Aroma wraps.

Beltane Farm/Oak Leaf Dairy: Friend of the DFM special this week: $1.00 off any two bars of Soap!!!

Haider Farm: Friend of the DFM special: $1.00 off any purchase of $10.00 or more.

Stonewall Apiary: The heat has slowed down the honeybees, and now they're focusing on drying the nectar they have been collecting over the last several weeks.  It's common to see them in large numbers outside of the hive, cooling it by pushing air into the hive entrance with their wings. At the market this week, we'll have our light spring honey, beeswax candles, and even more of our honey butter!  Our Friend of DFM special this week: $1.00 off any candle priced $5.00 or more. (Thanks to all of those who liked our Facebook page last week!)

Grande Marquis Farm: Friend of the DFM special this week is on Bone In NY Sirloin. As usual we have all sorts of steaks as well as patties, kelley dogs, hotdogs, kielbasa, dog treats and dog bones.

The Mischievous Carrot Farm: we’ll be back this week at the Groton Family Farm Tent! Our Friend of the DFM special this week will be our Fabulous Healing Salve, created with certified organic herb, made with beeswax from our own Stonewall Apiary! This Salve is perfect for rashes, bug bites, even bruises!...It works wonders for diaper rash too! Regular price is $12.00 for 2 ounce, for Friends this Sunday Just $10.00 each (limit one per person). Sweet Country Roads, LLC: be there with our vast array of jams and jellies, relishes, conserves. We will have our Spice and Dip Mixes and our Vanilla and Almond Extracts. Stony Ledge Farm: lb off of salt pork for the FDFM pin for a favorite chowder recipe! There will be plenty of meat available for that special summer cookout.

Studio Farm: Friend of the DFM special is $1.00 off of kale. We have three kinds avaialble. We will also have large fresh garlic, fingerling potatoes, red norland potatoes, plus the usual summer vegetables, lots of eggs and beautiful summer flower bouquets.
