Two Local Rocks Featured In National Geographic
One boulder is in Stonington and another in Mystic
Two local boulders have been featured in the "Pet Rocks" photo gallery in the March 2012 issue of National Geographic Magazine.
Photographer Fritz Hoffmann captured photos of one erratic, or a rock that has been delivered from far away by a glacier, next to a parking lot in Mystic and another boulder in the O'Boyle's yard in Stonington.
