·         4 of 5 mobile searches lead to a purchase, a higher conversion rate than any other device

·         3 of the 4 searches that converted to purchase brought a customer into a brick and mortar store

By now, most business owners know the importance of having an optimized mobile website or utilizing a responsive design theme. Moving beyond optimization, many website owners are wondering exactly what to put on a mobile site to convert mobile visitors.

Our advice: keep it simple.

While content marketing, videos, and intricate web design certainly have their purpose and place on a desktop website, it’s important to focus on delivering important information to your mobile users. In fact, 65% of smartphone users are searching for information on the go. Make sure your address, phone number, email, hours of operation, and other pertinent information are easily accessible from your mobile homepage. If mobile searchers have to navigate through your website to find this information, they will likely bounce back to the search results and look for another business.

Another tip is to complete your company’s Google+ profile with all relevant information. If your Google+ profile is optimized properly, mobile searchers may be able to find your contact information directly in the search results pages.
