Inside the Butterfly House at the colorful butterflies perch on rocks, trees and flowers. The DPNC began their seasonal release of butterflies in August and every other Thursday since they have been releasing various butterflies into the house. The last butterfly release of the year takes place on Thursday, September 20 at 4 p.m. Call the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center at 860-536-1216 for more information.
