STRATFORD, CT — One person was arrested after a fight that took place near a softball game Wednesday in Stratford, according to police.
Police responded to the baseball field at 380 Chapel Street around 6:55 p.m. on the report of a “large fight” at the field.
Officers found that it was a domestic incident involving “marital adult siblings,” according to police.

Witnesses told police that the fight took place near the parking lot area.
Police said the incident was not connected, and didn’t have any involvement, with the softball game that was being played.

One person was arrested, and one person sustained minor injuries, according to police.
A 28-year-old man was charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree assault, and risk of injury. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
