• Derby man charged with manslaughter, OUI after CTDOT worker struck, killed on I-95 in Fairfield (wtnh.com) — A CTDOT worker based out of the Stratford garage was struck and killed while clearing debris along I-95 South in Fairfield, and a Derby man now faces manslaughter and DUI charges. State police say the driver admitted using heroin and had suspected cocaine, underscoring safety risks for highway crews who also serve Stratford-area roads.
