Man Charged With Attempted Murder In Shooting: Stratford Police
The man was found to be in the possession of three loaded guns, according to police.
STRATFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting Thursday morning in Stratford, police said in an update.
Anthony Vann, 26, was arrested shortly after the incident when he surrendered to investigators, according to police.
Police said Vann was found to be in the possession of three loaded guns.

Vann was charged with attempted murder and was being held in lieu of a $1 million bond. He is expected to be arraigned on Friday.
Police responded to the 400 block of Long Beach Boulevard around 10:25 a.m. Thursday on the report of a shooting.

One victim was shot several times and taken to the hospital for medical evaluation, according to police.
“A single suspect was identified and taken into custody without incident shortly thereafter,” police wrote in a news release. “This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no further threat to public safety.”
The shooting victim was listed in stable condition, police said on Thursday evening.
