3 Teens Charged In Stratford Vehicle Thefts: Police

STRATFORD, CT — Three teens suspected in a string of recent vehicle-related thefts are charged after they were apprehended in a stolen car, according to Stratford police.

The teens, two of whom are 14 and one of whom is 15, were the subjects of an investigation into thefts of and from vehicles in the north end of Stratford, police said Saturday in a news release. Two of the teens attend Bunnell High School in Stratford and one attends the Boys and Girls Village in Milford, the news release said.

The car in the teens' possession was stolen Tuesday from a home in Stratford, according to police. Two of the teens were charged with larceny and conspiracy, and the third was charged with larceny, conspiracy and driving without a license, the news release said. All three were released to a parent or guardian.
