Affordable Housing Plan Denied in Stratford

The Stratford Zoning Commission rejected the proposal during a special meeting this week.

STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford Zoning Commission rejected a proposed affordable housing complex on James Farm Road after unanimously denying three resolutions related to the project, according to the Stratford Star.

The Star reports the developer wanted a special case permit to build a 72-unit complex at 795 James Farm Road but commission members had several concerns and criticisms of the project.

The vote was 5-0 at Wednesday’s special meeting, according to the Star.
