Big Lottery Prize Sold In Stratford

The big win came on a scratch ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

STRATFORD, CT — A winning scratch ticket worth $25,000 was recently sold in Stratford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Seymour resident won $25,000 on a $250,000 CA$HWORD 10 scratch ticket that was sold at S.A. Cigar Junction at 1030 Barnum Ave. in Stratford, according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
