Big Lottery Prize Sold In Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford resident recently won more than $33,000 on a winning lottery ticket that was sold in Stratford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won $33,466 on a Fast Play - $2 Moneybags Progressive ticket that was sold at South Main Package at 1065 Main St. in Stratford, according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
