Card Skimmer Found At Walmart In Stratford, Suspect Sought: Police

Police are asking for help with identifying a man accused of putting a skimming device on a self-checkout register at Walmart.

STRATFORD, CT — Police are alerting residents that a skimming device was found at Walmart in Stratford last Thursday.

Police are asking for help with identifying a man, pictured, accused of putting a skimming device on one of the self-checkout registers at Walmart on July 18.

“The device was quickly removed - but please double check your card statements/activity if you used the self check out lane [on July 18],” police wrote in a post on Facebook.
