STRATFORD, CT — The public is invited to attend a community 'Shred-it' event from 9 a.m. until noon on Sept. 12 at Grace Lutheran Church, 150 Chapel Street in Stratford.

You can bring your unwanted personal documents for destruction in a 'Shred-it' mobile shredding truck. Representatives may also be on site to offer tips on how you can protect yourself against identity theft.

It is $10 per bankers box with a three box limit.
