The suspect, who was on parole for selling drugs, was found to be in the possession of large amounts of cocaine and heroin, police said.

STRATFORD, CT — A suspected drug dealer from Stratford was arrested after crashing his vehicle while fleeing from police on Thursday. Robert Heyward, 35, ran from the crash scene and was taken into custody after a foot pursuit, police said. The arrest concluded a nearly year-long investigation, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.
