• 'Exceptional Residence' Hits The Market For $1.93M In Stratford (patch.com) — Stratford homebuyers can now tour a fully remodeled luxury waterfront residence at 500 River Road, newly listed for about $1.93 million. The 5,030-square-foot house offers sweeping river views from most rooms, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and high-end craftsmanship throughout, according to the listing.
   

• Fazio wants to end charter, magnet school waitlists in Connecticut education plan (ctpost.com subscription) — Stratford residents are indirectly tied to a new gubernatorial education proposal because their state senator, Herron Gaston, is criticizing candidate Ryan Fazio's record on school funding. Fazio is pitching a statewide plan to expand charter and magnet seats, change school funding formulas, and back cellphone bans in classrooms, while teachers' unions and Gov. Lamont's campaign push back on key pieces.
   

• Fourth man arrested in connection with armed robbery and home invasion in CT (courant.com) — Police say one suspect in a February Fairfield home invasion was captured on the Merritt Parkway in Stratford after fleeing the scene, while another was caught in Hamden. The fourth and final suspect has now been extradited from Alabama to face multiple serious charges, including home invasion and robbery. Nearby Fairfield schools were closed that morning as officers searched for the masked suspects.
