WING DING PARADE FOR KIDS Parents and Caregivers, start planning your float and costume ideas and have your family be a part of the greatest parade for kids around. It is of course the WING DING PARADE being held on Saturday, June 18th at The Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport. The parade and contest is open to all children up to 12 years old. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded in eight different categories such as the Cutest, Most Patriotic and Best Costume. Your floats can be made of anything you can pull or push like strollers, wagons, boxes or carts. Registration opens at 9:00am and the parade starts promptly at 11:00. Admission to the zoo is FREE up until 11:00am for all participants and their families. The day is filled with wonderful entertainment from clowns, magicians, musicians and demonstrations. There is also FREE face painting, tattoos, arts & crafts, games, inflatables and more. It’s an affordable and outstanding family day event.
