The Stratford Library and Square One Theatre Company have announced the schedule for Readers Theatre Summer Showcase 2011. The annual series of live, staged readings of new and established plays will begin on Wednesday, June 22 and continue on Wednesday evenings through August 3. The theatre readings are free and open to the public.
“The Beach House”, Huntington playwright Peter Vouras’ original new play, will kick-off the theatre series tonight.
The play concerns four best friends from college and their significant others who rent a Long Island beach house. For eleven straight years it's been nothing but sun and fun but, after what happens this year, things will never be the same.
