Firefighters Battle Blaze At Stratford Home

STRATFORD, CT — Firefighters were called overnight to battle a blaze at a home in Stratford. Emergency personnel received a report of a mattress fire and arrived to find flames coming from two windows on the second floor of a Meadowview Drive residence, according to a Facebook post about 3 a.m. Tuesday from Stratford Professional Firefighters IAFF 998. Seven emergency vehicles responded to the blaze and two water lines were used to fight the fire, the post said. No injuries were reported.
