Firefighters Respond To Blaze At Stratford Home

STRATFORD, CT — Firefighters put out a blaze over the weekend at a Stratford home. The fire department responded Sunday afternoon to a residence on Brenair Terrace, where firefighters found and quickly extinguished a fire in a basement crawlspace that was traveling up the walls to the first floor, according to a Facebook post from Stratford Professional Firefighters IAFF 998. No one was hurt and the town fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause, the post said.
