Little Red School to Showcase Student Artwork at Open Door Tea in Jan.
The iconic private art & music school will display 30 pieces of art by their gifted students, some for sale. A first in the community!
Carolyn West, director of the Little Red School of Art & Music on Main Street in Stratford, is teaming up with Open Door Tea to present a gallery of the school's gifted student artwork for the entire month of January. The month-long event will feature at least 30 pieces created by the students, who range in age from 8 to 18. Some of the pieces will be for sale.
This is a first for the city of Stratford where young, gifted artists are able to feature their hard work in a peaceful setting, where the tea room is located on Paradise Green. The school is honored that Open Door continues to support the arts and the students of the Little Red School.
All are invited to a reception by Ms. West and the students on January 11, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. to chat with patrons. There are a variety of sweets and teas available at the tea room along with a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy the afternoon.
