Long Wharf’s Eric Ting to Speak at Stratford Library on March 27

The Stratford Library, in conjunction with the Connecticut Critics Circle and the Friends of Square One Theatre Company, will host Long Wharf Associate Director Eric Ting for a special program on Sunday, March 27 at 2 pm.  The program is free and open to the public.

"A Conversation with Eric Ting” will focus on the director’s role at the venerable New Haven theatre and his most recent work on the new play, “Agnes Under the Big Top.”

Ting is in his seventh season at Long Wharf, his fourth as Associate Artistic Director.  Recent directing credits at the theatre include “Sylvia”, “The Old Man and the Sea”, “Bad Dates”, “The Bluest Eye”, “Let Me Down Easy” and the award-winning “Underneath The Lintel.”  

His work has been presented internationally including France, Canada, Romania, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Bali.  Awards and grants include a 2004-06 TCG New Generations Future Leaders fellowship and a Jerome & Roslyn Milstein Meyer Career Development Prize.

“A Conversation with Eric Ting” will being at 2 pm in the Lovell Room of the Stratford Library on Sunday, March 27.  Light refreshments courtesy of the Friends of Square One will be provided.
