Prosecutors agreed to reduce the charges from manslaughter after the state’s expert confirmed that Filho turned left in front of Kimball just before the crash, according to the Post. Prosecutors also urged jail time for Kimball, who was also sentenced to five years of probation, because it was his third DUI, the Post reported.
