A new tradition is being set for the Stratford Veterans Day Parade, according to officials.
STRATFORD, CT — A new tradition is being set for the Stratford Veterans Day Parade, which will be held Nov. 11.
The new tradition is originating from veteran’s groups, according to officials.
“This tradition affects veterans from all branches of the service,” officials wrote in a special request. “This tradition involves wearing your dog tags on the outside of your clothing on Veterans Day. If you have your dog tags, please wear them to show respect to the ones who have gone before or have passed away.
