Obituary: Carolyn M. Kordish, 59, Of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — (From Adzima Funeral Home): Carolyn M. Kordish, 59, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Carolyn was born February 23, 1964, in Bridgeport to Sylvia M. (Sernak) Kordish and the late Joseph H. Kordish and was a lifelong resident of Stratford.

Carolyn was a truly beautiful, caring person that was filled with love and kindness that touched the lives of all that knew her. She enjoyed participating in the Kennedy Center art program and her artwork was twice featured in the annual Kennedy Center calendar.

Carolyn also enjoyed duckpin bowling and she dedicated over 30 years of her life, working at Trans-Lite, Inc. in Milford, assembling electrical fixture components.

Survivors include her devoted and loving mother Sylvia, two brothers, Christopher and his wife Susan of Tyngsboro, MA and David and his wife Victoria of Sandy Hook, CT, one nephew, John, three nieces, Kayla, Annmarie, and Sophia and one uncle, Joseph Sernak of Pinehurst, NC.
